Bengal Tigers Cricket Club, Champion Finnish 40 overs Cricket League 2008
Bengal tigers cricket club has made its entry into the Finnish cricket league in style. Taking the championship triumph in their inaugural tournament has been officially celebrated on 14th March in the annual FCA award ceremony. In the presence of many cricket teams, supporters and FCA officials, Shakil Osman raised the winner’s trophy for Bengal tigers. Players and officials were all excited and over the joy. In his speech Shakil mentioned, Its just the start of Bengals and only the hard work will make it a continuous success in the coming season. The momentum was even enchanting as Bengal tigers bagged 2 individual rewards as well. Ruben, was awarded by ‘BEST BATTING AVARAGE’ player for his dashing batting attitude and Aminul Islam as‘ BEST PLAYER’ for his great contribution with batting and bowling. Congratulations to all the team members, management, supporters. The Championship in 40 overs Finnish cricket league has now brought the entry ticket to the Bengals to play in the 50 overs Finnish league.
