Bengal Tigers lost against Vantaa CC on their T20's opening match played at Rajakylä on Saturday. Toss was only thing that went on tigers side as they choose to bat first winning it. It was never easy when only 2 batsmen out of 11 showed some resistance for Tigers. Uncomitted batting from most of the batsmen pulled together a total of 104 when Bengal Tigers were all out for 104 in 16.5 overs. Thanks to opener batsman Amin and middle order Mohon to show some hope to the tigers but it was never enough to put a fighting total on the scoreboard. To chase the target,Vantaa made a fluent start though Mohon picked 3 early wickets for the Bengals. Some pinch hitting batting from Vantaa CC made it a piece of cake and they reached their target in only 7.3 overs.
Bengal Tigers hope to capitilize this lost by moral comeback on the second match against SKK to be played at Ruskeasuo on Tuesday. Thumps up the Tigers.

T20 league starts on saturday for Bengal Tigers
Bengal tigers' first T20 league match is to be played against Vantaa cricket club on saturday 28th June. Match is to commence at 10 am at Rajakylä, Vantaa. BTCC Players are advised to be on the spot by 9 am as the Tigers will be hosting the match and ground should be done on time.
2nd Match of the league for the Bengal Tigers is scheduled on next tuesday, 1st of June. Rival is SKK and the match will be played in Ruskeasuo ,Helsinki starting at 1730. Players must report by 1630. Tigers are all excited and counting down the days to get into the action. Watch out the claws.......

Shakil Jr. and Kamran sealed it for Bengal Tigers against Finn-Asia
Tigers won against Finn-Asia on their 3rd league match played at Turku yesterday. Winning the toss, Hosts sent Bengal Tigers to bat first. From the very first ball , Finn-Asia pressured the visitors and at one stage, Tigers were 27/3. A very fine knock from Shakil Jr and well needed partnership with Monju helped the Tigers to recover the early dents and make a fighting score of 153 before they were bowled out. Shakil made 51 before he was caught out.
Though Finn-Asia lost their first wicket early from a stunning catch of Monju at square leg, 2nd wicket partnership of the hosts were frastrating the Tigers. Some great bowling from the striker bowler Kamran brought the balance for the Tigers. Kamran took 4 wickets while Rubel pocketed 3 for the Tigers before Finn-Asia were packed at 117. The victory was indeed a sweet one as the Tigers now are back in to the track in the division. Tigers like to thank Bappi bhai, Anis bhai and Tuli bhabi for all the asists. Next match for Bengal tigers in SM 40 league is against Tampere at their home ground on 6th July.

Tigers are on road again to play against Finn-Asia for the away match in Turku on 7th. This 3rd league match become crucial for the tigers after their lost against Vaasa in a tight match. Tigers will be looking forward to bounce back in this match to move along with the pace.
